Training for policy institutes

On March 3-4 the Institute for Public Policy, with support of the OSCE Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights, will organize a 2-day training workshop for policy centers of Central Asia. The purpose of the event is to bring together representatives of young policy research centers/think tanks of Central Asian countries to discuss some common challenges in setting up and development of policy institutes in Central Asian environment.

The workshop topics are:

1. Organizational challenges: how to build an effective policy center
2. Meeting or shaping the demand or how to work with the government?
3. Best standards of policy development
4. Challenges and opportunities in fundraising
