A round table on “Topical issues of Kyrgyzstan’s Foreign Policy” was held on December 21st, 2005 at the Institute of Public Policy. Valentin Bogatyrev, Director of the International Institute for Strategic Studies under the President of the Kyrgyz Republic, and Murat Suyunbaev, Vice-rector of the Diplomatic Academy under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic, who also works as an Executive Secretary for a Working Commission on Developing a New Concept of Kyrgyzstan’s Foreign Policy, were invited as speakers.
